Engagement
Branch Performance Review Engagement
A structured review of your branch network that turns scattered teller, deposit, and staffing figures into a scorecard leadership can act on.
Who this engagement serves
Retail and commercial banks in Hong Kong that need a clear read on which branches carry the book, which drain staff time, and which quietly miss deposit or fee targets. We work with operations, finance, and regional managers who already sit on month-end packs but still argue about definitions.
What you receive
- A agreed metric dictionary covering queue wait, teller productivity, deposit book movement, fee income, ATM uptime, and staffing ratios
- Branch and region scorecards with peer groups that reflect Kowloon, New Territories, and Hong Kong Island realities rather than a single island-wide average
- A written performance pack with commentary you can take to EXCO without rewriting overnight
- A short working session with regional leads to walk through outliers and next actions
What is excluded
We do not install software licences, replace your core banking MIS, or run marketing campaigns. Technology teams may join the data workshops, but the deliverable is analysis and reporting design, not a product subscription.
How the work unfolds
- Scoping call — network size, systems that hold the numbers, and which decisions the review must support
- Data inventory — source extracts for the last 12–24 months, plus known gaps and one-off events (renovations, typhoon closures, branch merges)
- Scorecard build — draft views, peer grouping, and thresholds reviewed with your operations lead
- Field sense-check — optional visits to a sample of branches to test whether the numbers match floor reality
- Readout — pack delivery, Q&A, and a 30-day follow-up call on early actions
Preparation we ask of you
Nominate a single operations contact, confirm extract owners in MIS or finance, and share any existing KPI dictionaries—even unfinished ones. Engagements stall when three teams each hold a different “official” deposit figure.
Timeline and location
Most Hong Kong networks of 20–60 branches complete in four to six weeks. Larger networks or multi-entity groups may need eight. Kick-offs and readouts happen at your offices or at our Kowloon Bay address; data workshops can be remote.
Fees
Quoted after scoping. Pricing reflects branch count, number of source systems, and whether field visits are included. See Rates for indicative ranges.
